Who is MB General Facility Services

The history of MB General Facility Services is built on courage, dedication, and vision and it starts long before the company existed.

Its founder and her husband, originally from Brazil, lived for many years in Europe, where they developed values of work, responsibility, discipline, and excellence that today form the foundation of the brand.

During the period they lived abroad, both had profound experiences as immigrants in search of a dream.

In Europe, especially on an island in Portugal, the founder worked with luxury home cleaning and Airbnb properties, acquiring technical skills, international quality standards, and the sensitivity to understand the needs of different clients and cultures.

Upon arriving in the United States, they rebuilt their lives with determination. The founder started her journey working as a housekeeper for an American company in Myrtle Beach, where her commitment stood out quickly, learning the language in record time.

Over time, she moved on to take care of a private schedule of houses for another company, learning management, direct client relationships, and elevated service standards, all encouraged by the owner of the company who trained me with excellence, letting me be responsible for the entire process.

But the desire to grow spoke louder after we went through some health situations in the family and the cost of every appointment was very high.

The motivation to become an entrepreneur

What drove the birth of MB was the genuine desire to grow as a businesswoman, build something of one’s own, and transform experience into a business.

The challenges were many — the language barrier (in which the learning was arduous and in record time), cultural adaptation, and the search for clients, often done 1-on-1, with humility and persistence.

But from the beginning, a differentiator stood out:

Listening to the client. Knowing the need of each one and treating them individually.

It was this that built trust, opened doors, and established the foundation of the company’s reputation. We are a family company where 80% of our clients come through referrals of our work.
